Fool's gold-fever
Sdot A logical analysis (according to the capacity of the author with the lower-case "a") about the homepage of www.hattrick.org: Wellcome! everything is right, till now... Hattrick is an online football game where you trade players and coach your team in competition with hundreds of thousands of simultaneous opponents from all over the world. I don't know, I don't think it's just about trading and competition with hundreds of thousands of other disturbed people. Here there is no reference to the sleepless nights screening the transfer market (I'm not talking about the one we have now, divided in macro-areas, but the old one when you had to look in hundreds of regions for thousands of potential dead losses). There is no reference about moving up youth players, or the market's swings of mood, or the opponent's cunning, or the months wasted waiting for a playmaking improvement... I think there's much more than this!!! This is how it works ?... if only I'd known!.... Hattrick is free of charge. yes it is, but what about all that stuff hanging around it? You run your team using a web browser. Matches are played a couple times a week. and here they "forget" to say you're gonna log on a "x" number raised to the power of "x + infinity" of times, with every excuse, on every hour, from every place you're gonna stay more than 4 hours. You can log on at any time to check the status of your team, issue orders for training, trade players on the transfer list - or just have a chat with the other Hattrick users. here they talk about the fact that you "can choose" to log on just to have a look, but they underestimate the effects of this thing over what you, before joining HT, was used to call "life"; or just have a chat with other Hattrick users, that in fact is a nice aspect of this HT virus. Hattrick is never ending so when (if) you win your league you qualify for promotion to a higher league the following season (each season is 16 weeks long). And maybe just this could be enough to hope in the existence of some god and his religion. When you win your league.. yes, but when?!?! Oh yes, when you don't line up the wrong formation for example... From that "you qualify for promotion" you should understand that you don't have just to win your league, but you also have to hope in some kind of god to pass the play off... and then nothing about the play-out, come on! Are you ready? Ready to go for national and international fame? No, for god's sake, we don't play for fame!! we do that because otherwise our existence would be a useless sequence of weeks in which you lose your training!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" |
